      He IS the dad , and he'll probably die when the kids are at a young age

        He's definitely the father, so it's unlikely he will die anytime soon. In the first chapter Somyung said her father went missing when she was 8. Myungjin drowned 4 years later. By the math, this man can't die for at least another 10 years.

        The thing I noticed was Gyoon has an uncanny resemblance to Siyoon. From his backstory to his appearance (before the makeover), he's very similar. The mother might have picked Siyoon to care for and placed him next to Somyung, possibly of that resemblance.
