as i read this, i'd like to comment a few things, it's possible but i think it's a far fetch, mc will gain a stable job "presumably" so him turning to a musician is a bit stretch, as for leaving her to allow her to focus on her profession as a star is honestly something that could actually go down the road but i rather not see it, as mc's persona isn't the type to do such thing, so if's done it's for stretching only and will add nothing to the plot except needless drama which i would rather not to indulge in, a more plausible route of events, is the mc finding that she's long afternoon on his own, this will cause him to enter in a state of confusion and dilemma +\- sense of betrayal, this can lead to a bit more difficult situation and would require the writer to dive deep into both mc and fmc as this will affect them both, but honestly, this was wholesome, so i wish it stays like this, and that for every time they encounter an "error" or an "argument" they solve it with a simple yet wholesome solution, just like when they thought each of them had a significant other back in a few chapters ago. either way we gotta wait and see how everything will unveil.

Personally I would hate if they did the typical "I have to break up with her/him to help them achieve something". Most of the time it just feels like adding drama for drama´s sake and not because it helps the story. Just this once I want to read a story about a stable relationship. Another thing I would hate is the typical "I have to discover myself outside of this relationship where I gained self-confidence".
