I had a feeling.
At first I thought maybe MC was already an apostle, but he's more similar to the term used for the girl, a "contracted being". And yet, the girl didn't know about the tower or the system. So MC ended up being a sort of in-between, more than a mere contractor, less than an actual apostle. We understand now that "challenger" is a specific term for those kind of beings.
I also have several questions for this genie-looking boomer, I hope MC gets to ask some of them. Mainly, if the Tutorial has such a strict objective, why was it necessary to divide it in difficulty levels? Wouldn't it work best for the sake of filtering out the worthy ones to throw them all into Hell difficulty? And wouldn't the challengers that pass the Tutorial in Easy difficulty actually be kinda weak? I don't see how that's helping to fight powerful monsters or finding worthy apostles. Unless there is a need for bulk, quantity over quality, for the sake of fighting lesser monsters?
Regardless, we know that in the future MC will not like the prospect of being a God's puppet, and will isolate himself in the 60th floor trying... something I'm not quite sure what's about, to be honest. But it's definitely something the Gods won't like, that's for sure.
Thanks for the chapter.
