so much fun and very realistic!!
whenever i find genderbender stories online, they’re usually gooner fetish content or really cringey and unrealistic. this is absolutely not that! being in a body of the opposite gender for the MC is portrayed really realistically, especially with all the downsides it can come with. the drama of him switching back and forth while also interacting with the rest of the cast in either body is extremely entertaining, and there are so many plotlines and characters interacting in so many different ways that makes it extremely engaging. i’m genuinely obsessed with this manhwa and can’t wait for more!
Not what I expected
the story is like lookism but if daniel had a beautiful female body instead of a male one and minus the fight scene and the comedy and focus on becoming an idol.
the story isn’t emotional, and not something that will hit you hard
you can share the story to your friends and family as the characters don’t cuss and there is no gooning scenes
Wholesome and interesting story
Unlike most gender benders, this one avoids fanservice, cringe romance, and hype drama. The mc’s gender change serves a real purpose, and the story shows them convincingly in both male and female forms. The characters are cute and relatable, the pacing is smooth, and you don’t need any knowledge of idol culture to enjoy it.
It might not get that popular because it lack flashy tropes but without them you will still enjoy the manwha.
More realistic than I thought
Before reading I had my doubts, I thought this was going to be something like Ranma 1/2, just cheeky genderbend fetish fantasy. But it’s surprisingly serious and rooted in real issues, and besides the instant sex change fiction, the rest of it feels pretty realistic.
If I had to compare this to something else, I’d say the aforementioned Ranma 1/2 having a bastarda child with Lookism, minus the comedy and the fighting. Definitely worth reading even if you’re not really into idol culture, it has something that hooks you in very quickly and you can’t avoid rooting for the Mc.
Its interesting
The concept is great, I just find it interesting and I feel a little bit of anxiety because I can’t wait for the next chapter, just try and see if it’s something for you
