Exactly similar I don't think I know any other, this one is pretty unique for me (which is why I like it so much). BUT I know of two series that share a topic and are very good as well.
I manga we have Ranma 1/2, a classic of the romantic comedy genre with a splash of ecchi and lots of action, following Ranma, a martial artist that for certain reasons becomes a girl if bathed in hot water, and reverts back to a boy in cold water. Hijinks ensue while he looks for a way to undo this curse.
For manhwa we have Lookism, an action long running series that explores what it means to be ugly in a world where looks are the most important trait of a person, and thus the protagonist is for some reason granted the weird miracle of having two bodies. Every time he sleeps, he switches bodies, from the ugly unathletic one to the handsome and perfect in every aspect new one, and viceversa. He will try to make use of this opportunity while fighting his way through bullies and gangsters, but the question remains: what's with the two bodies and who is responsible?

I have some idol-ish!! Theres Debut or Die, here's the sinopsis, "A 4th year student who was preparing for the Civil Service examination, suddenly he found himself in an unfamiliar body 3 years ago. As well as a status window displaying a threat in front of his eyes! [Outbreak!] [Status Abnormality: ‘Debut or Death’ Occurs!] A diary about the transformation of the main character, who was suddenly challenged to be an idol even though he has never been in the industry before due to sudden threat of death." And theres My Comeback as the Youngest Member (first season it's great, s2 not that much) but it's a fun one too ^^

Right from the start I like the subtext from the first dialogue. Minji might come across someone egotistical (because she’s attention starved like a cat), but I think she’s realising the difference between a person that only praises her vainly to exploit her (Suryeon) and someone who genuinely cares for the success of the team (FemMC).
I don’t remember if they told us who her brother is tho… Could it be the other male idol, the Casanova wannabe? Or am I misremembering completely?
And speaking of Suryeon, that’s going to trigger a different kind of jealousy… With Ruha pretending to develop Yoil as her substitute AND take the debut spot (both of which Suryeon clearly have been aspiring towards for most of her career), because she wants to both get out of the company AND get to date MC… I just hope the blonde friend doesn’t get swept in that and become a bitch towards FemMC as well… Dude, this ticking time bomb is looking as complex as the dramas my grandma used to watch on TV! I never thought I’d get hooked on one of those, but here I am! And Yoil doesn’t get to rest because her (his) school friend is digging deeper!

I totally get that. At the beginning I just wanted to make short silly comments but at some point it just felt like part of my experience with this manhwa had to include doing a deeper analysis or smth. In some chapters I kinda forced myself to write something, even though I thought what I was saying wasn't all that interesting. But still, sharing my thoughts, as silly as they are, seems like the right thing to do. And it's helping with self-confidence issues that so many of you find them entertaining at least.
So thank you once again. Truly.

Thank you, Vermithion! I definitely wasn't expecting to get so invested when I read the first two chapters. I don't even know why I started this series to begin with, I usually wait for them to have more chapters to binge. But I don't regret it at all! I'm quite enjoying it a lot! Maybe someone one day will be like "uuh akshtually, this manhwa isn't all that original, X or Y is a better idol story". But for me this is a first contact with this genre (I think), and that's something special.
